I grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon, just outside Portland, in a solid Christian home with parents who loved Jesus and were passionate about discipleship. They showed what it means to hear from God and to faithfully trust Him through every season, whether easy or hard. In Oregon, I was surrounded by many different cultures, people groups, and ideologies that deeply needed the truth about Jesus. This environment is where my heart for evangelism, intercession, and seeing God do the impossible began.
Although I knew God for as long as I can remember, I truly encountered Him and fully committed my life to Jesus Christ on the concrete floor of the Portland Coliseum at an Acquire the Fire event at age 12. There, I vowed to the Lord that whatever He asked of me, my answer would always be “yes.” Little did I know what journey lay ahead.
After graduating high school, I attended college as a full-time missionary to Oregon State University. There, I ministered (alongside 50+ other students) to the Greek system at Oregon State. After a year, I attended Calvary Chapel Bible School in Corvallis, Oregon. Following Bible school, I worked as a youth worship coordinator and middle school director and traveled across the country as a professional drummer in the music industry. Led by the Lord, I joined my parents in Colorado for a faith journey that sparked a three-year urban missionary experience. I traveled across the United States, partnering with different churches and businesses, preaching the gospel, and learning priceless lessons from God along the way. It was a delight to be led by Him and to experience incredible miracles during that time. During this journey, I met my beautiful wife, Hayley, in Greensboro, North Carolina. What was supposed to be a three-week trip turned into a six-month stay. Shortly thereafter, Hayley and I became engaged, and we married in 2015. We now have five beautiful and amazing children: Grayson, Abigail, Elijah, Josiah, and Asher.
Since then, my family and I have continued to answer the call the Lord has placed on our hearts in every season. We moved to Colorado in blind faith in 2017 and lived there for eight years. With a passion for people, relationships, and life-on-life discipleship, we were blessed to open our home for a youth discipleship group for several years and saw God do amazing things during our time in Colorado. There, we served faithfully at the Springs Church in Colorado Springs and helped to pioneer a hybrid Christian school. Sensing a season of transition, we prayed and sought the Lord for three years before He revealed we were to move to Texas. We knew God was calling us to Texas for ministry, though we didn’t know the details. We relocated from Monument, Colorado, to the Garden Valley area in July 2025 (it’s undeniably a God story!).
I am passionate about equipping and raising up the next generation, hearing God’s voice, and loving His Word—it’s my favorite book to read. I am always looking for opportunities to encourage others in creative and meaningful ways. I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship and for finding unique ways for others to grow. I believe following Jesus should always be an adventure, even in the seemingly mundane seasons. I love to worship, pray, host others in our home, and create space for the Holy Spirit to move. Most of all, I love seeing God bring breakthrough in areas once deemed “impossible.”
One of my (current) favorite versus is Philippians 1:6 – “being confident of this, that HE who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
