I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, grew up and lived there through high school and some college at the University of Cincinnati in engineering. I began working for the parent company of NAPA Auto Parts and ended up spending my entire career of 39 years there. In 2020, as a senior network/data center engineer I accepted a voluntary retirement. My former employer ask me to return as a contractor and I am happy to be back with (mostly) my old team.
My wife Denise and we were married in 2011. I have three kids from a previous marriage: Kaitlin (39), Michelle (39), & Alissa (31).
Denise and I lived in the DFW Metro”mess” until 2017. She accepted a position as a senior accountant at Mercy Ships and that brought us to East Texas full time. Prior to that I served as a trustee in the Assemblies of God Church in Carrolton, TX and also served on the Worship Team as well as in the tech booth.
Not long after Denise joined Mercy Ships she asked that we visit CCF. We knew as soon as we came through the doors that this was where we needed to be. The welcome was amazing and we felt the love of God and his people. CCF has been an incredible blessing for our family, drawing us closer to the Lord. CCF is not a building, it is a body of believers lifting each other up continually.
Currently, I am very humbled to be the IT Director at CCF. I have always been a “techie” and prior to my appointment I was the primary substitute for Chad in sound or Roland in media when they were not in the booth. Technical production has been my calling going all the way back to high school.
In addition to “all things IT” at CCF, I am involved in the men’s ministry.

Scripture: Psalm 34:1-7
1 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
