Kim's condition is improving!
Kimberly is sitting up, went on a short walk and is reading texts and catching up somewhat. She is in good spirits and is glad that her doctors are taking the time to fine tune and weak her meds.
Kim Westbrook, 9/6 6:30pm:
Kim Westbrook
Kim walked down the hall this morning. Heart rate and oxygen stayed great. She had one episode of fluttering this morning, but that’s not unusual. It resolved in less than 10 minutes.
Kim Westbrook
Kim looks good. A little tired. but to be expected. Pray the AFIB goes away. She is hoping to go home Monday!

Kim Westbrook
There could be a delay in her getting released today. Basically, they’re being cautious, and tomorrow is when they remove the staples. Her pain is a driving issue. They’re still trying to figure it out.
Kim Westbrook
Kim was fitted for the life vest today which will monitor her erratic heartbeat and shock her if needed. She asked for prayer that she gets out tomorrow and that she never has to use the vest.
Kim Westbrook
Kim is home and grateful to be there.
They want to thank everyone for all of their prayers.
Kim Westbrook
Kim has what looks like bleeding behind her retina, which is causing her vision issues. So doctors will refer her to a specialist who can help her take care of it.

Having a great day! Good energy and less shortness of breath. God is good!

Pray for Phyllis Ann Boisvert, mother of Misty Mihai – CCF Missionary in Romania
Misty Mihai is our CCF missionary in Romania. Misty’s Mom, Phyllis Ann Boisvert and her husband, Mike, moved to Romania a few years ago to help support Milan & Misty in ministry and to be closer to the grandkids in retirement. They also served in missions along with their second daughter, Michaela, for 7 years in Romania in the 2000’s and spent about a year in Lindale with YWAM and attending CCF. Phyllis spent more time in Lindale as part of CCF in 2012. Thus, you might remember Phyllis Ann.
In the last 6 months, Phyllis has been battling for her health. In February she was diagnosed with cancer, has had three surgeries and was diagnosed with a life threatening autoimmune disease which attacked her skin and muscles causing debilitating weakness and difficulty eating. After the third surgery, 3-4 weeks ago, she just wasn’t able to bounce back. She is currently in ICU in Romania on a vent because her lungs are not functioning properly.
Misty Mihai texted today, “Mom continues to be in serious condition. I spoke with the doctor today. They are hoping that after 4 days of dialysis that her kidneys will begin to do their job on their own. She is still on the ventilator and her blood pressure is having to be medicated. Three organs now are deeply affected by this autoimmune disease. Please pray for a miracle.
