- 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM Workshop: Creating Effective Communications and Evacuation Plans As presented at our January seminar, Communications is our top priority in preparing for emergencies and disasters. This workshop will present the elements of an effective Communications Plan and the closely associated Evacuation Plan. We’ll be looking at the rationale behind the decision to evacuate as well as how to make the process as efficient as possible. A properly executed Communications Plan will not only define how to ‘stay connected’ prior to an emergency, but also how to maintain contact and gather useful information during an emergency.
