Awana Grand Prix

Event Description

Awana is dedicated to helping children know, love and serve Jesus for a lifetime through exciting games, engaging activities and biblical teaching. This is an opportunity for children and for you to help children get God’s Word planted and rooted in their heart. They memorize verses, meet in small groups. The goal is to learn more about those verses and how to study the Bible to use in their everyday lives. If you want to find out more, cheer on this year's car racers at the Grand Prix Saturday, February 7 at 2pm. Many club members are making their pinewood derby cars for this event. (Remember, car check in is at 1pm.) God, Our children are some of our most precious gifts from You. We pray that you give us wisdom as we model and teach what it means to follow You. Continue to fill our volunteer team with Your anointing. Allow them to see how to partner with our families to make the Bible come alive for our kids. We pray you honor the parents as they make passing down their love of scripture to the next generation. We pray our children would develop lifelong habits of spending time studying You Words and listening for Your direction. Amen. Eph. 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
