10/15/25 Update by Edie on Tjibbe:

CT Scans came back with good indication that there are no additional obstructions (thank you Lord!!) and giving evidence Tjibbe is still recovering from paralyzed bowels. (Effects of narcotics and trauma his body has been through) We are still the typical timeframe for his inward parts to be awakening from this condition. Doctors orders are small bowel rest next day or two meaning no further introduction of liquids and continued IV nutrition as he rests = longer stay in room 519. None of this report gives answers to our original concerns which remain in the common bile duct tissue. The stent is still appearing to do its job and keep the pathway open. The tissue although undetected through biopsy for cancer appears concerning. We continue to have conversations about how to address this underlying situation and Dr Vo is open to some ideas we are presenting from integrative medicine to MD Anderson. We are laying it all out on the table.

We feel cared for deeply by the staff at Christus and we also are seeking wisdom from family and friends so we are well aware of how to proceed with Gods final word leading us.

Today I read this and it holds true to where we are as a family.
