I was born and raised in Riverside, California. When I was 15, I was radically saved and started a life altering relationship with Jesus Christ. After high school, the Lord called me to study and teach Bible so I spent a few years at Columbia International University in South Carolina and received a BA in Bible and Missions. In 1992, I met Lisa, the love of my life and eventually she agreed to marry me. Since then we have raised 2 sons, Daniel and Nathan.
Over the years I have served as an assistant pastor, missionary to Ukraine, international student minister and other roles as the Lord would lead. For most of those years, Lisa and I have also built and operated a website design and development company. In 2005 the Lord led us to Texas. We initially made the move to Austin where we spent 16 years but we did eventually make it to East Texas in January of 2021, where we connected with CCF and quickly became members.
In recent years, my main ministry passion has been to discover why Christians fail to grow in an authentic, vibrant relationship with Jesus and to develop effective ways teach and coach Christians to discover a deeper walk with God. My friends tell me my main gifts are teaching, administration and pastoring.
As Adult Ministries Coordinator, I oversee Lifegroups, Altar ministry, Refresh Hour Sunday School and Men’s ministry.
