International self-defense trainer, John Koeshall will be bringing over 30 years of real world self-defense and teaching experience to East Texas with his Street Smart Defender training class.
Street Smart Defender provides a unique, transformational training experience using cutting edge training methods to quickly and effectively awaken your innate ability to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Street Smart Defender is based on the belief that everyone has the right to feel safe, and nobody should have to live their life in fear. Street Smart Defender facilitates an awakening of skills that are already within you. This class (SSD: Escape!) takes 2 hours to complete and will be hosted at Community Christian Fellowship. We will have a Ladies Only class on Friday Night March 1st, from 6:30-8:30pm, and an Open Class of men and women 16 yrs and older on Saturday, March 2nd, at 9:30am. This is not a high impact class, there will be no martial arts and there will be no throwing of people around and you won’t be embarrassed.
Street Smart Defender is self defense essentials for the real-world. When you have completed this training experience, you will be able to defend yourself and escape most types of attacks…. Street Smart Defender uses natural motions that most people use daily. You don’t need to learn any new moves. While you experience the training, you will discover and train your natural tools in an environment that safely and quickly hones your ability to safely escape a threat. 
John quickly and effectively transfers critical skills for self-protection to his students through the use of technical and tactical training methods in use around the world today by top operators who need results. John uses this technology to bring state of the art training to the general public.
He currently has students in and travels to teach in Africa, Asia, Europe, and across North America. He has experience working with various local and national law enforcement agencies in the US, Canada, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, and other countries. From working with airline personnel to Sr. level crisis management teams, John has also worked with various blue chip corporations as a seminar lecturer on travel safety, personal protection, and stress management.
