Cameo Yeater-Socha

Elementary School Coordinator

I was born in Ohio and Lived there for 42 years. I grew up with amazing parents who raised me with strong family values such as love God, work hard, be kind and sometimes you just have to “leave things go”.

I am married to a great guy named Dennis who teaches History and coaches Football. We have 4 adult children and a High School Junior still at home.

On of my life verses that I return to frequently is Romans 8:28. This verse has been helpful in my daily walk, knowing that in ALL things, God works for the good.

I started volunteering in the Children’s Ministry classes when I was in Junior High. My Sunday School teacher at that time said to me that she thought I might be “gifted with children”.  I didn’t know in Junior High what that meant. But what I have known is that I’m passionate about teaching children to know who Jesus is and helping them to make their faith their own. And, I like for children to have fun in Children’s Ministry and to build relationships with other kids.

My Favorites:

Food: Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla or Waffle Cone Ice Cream

Books: Any book by Mark Batterson

Verse: Jeremiah 29:11

Movies: Wizard of Oz

Personal: We are a Gold Star Military Family

Hobbies: My husband and I LOVE to do DIY on homes. It started as a necessity, but we found out that we really like learning a new skill and using power tools.
