Office Administrator – I was blessed and raised in a strong Christian family. Before moving to Texas at age 8, I was born in Missouri and my family lived in Miami, FL and West Canada for a year. I am the eldest child with 2 younger siblings: Jonathan and Sarah. At the end of 3rd grade, I first attended Lindale elementary school. That year, I enrolled in ballet and jazz classes at YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Growing up, I regularly took dance classes, took piano classes, attended youth group Bible studies, and was involved in school activities such as band. At the end of 7th grade, I stopped dance and decided to join the cross country and track team. However, after 9th grade, I decided to solely focus on ballet and began training at TJC (Tyler Junior College) Academy of Dance. For 3 summers, I attended Ballet Magnificat’s (a Christian ballet company) summer dance intensive in Jackson, Mississippi.
I graduated from Lindale High School in 2011 and attended TJC for a year before transferring to OU (University of Oklahoma), located in Norman, OK. During my time at OU, I attended Antioch Community Church and was very involved with Antioch Norman’s college ministry. I also continued my ballet training in college but stopped before my final semester. After 2 years, I graduated from OU with a degree in Communication (with an emphasis in interpersonal/relational communication) in May of 2014.
In the summer of 2014, I worked at Rockin’ C Ranch (Christian youth summer camp) for the first time as a camp counselor and horse wrangler. Near the end of the summer, God led me to apply to work at Sky Ranch (Christian youth summer camp and retreat center) as a fellow (intern) in the Legacy Fellowship one-year program. I joined the program in mid-August. This program challenged and stretched me in the following areas: spirituality, biblical community, and work experience.
