Jr. High Pastor –
I was born in 1986 and raised in a Godly home with an older brother and two younger sisters. We moved to Lindale in 1996 and began attending a little country church called CCF in 2000. Through the prayers and guidance of my incredible, godly parents, I gave my life to Christ wholeheartedly at an Acquire the Fire event in 2001, right here in Garden Valley.
Synonymous with this call to Christ, I felt called to ministry. Around this time, I met a pretty young blonde name Sarah Hickey, playing guitar in the church youth group with such beautiful passion and love for Jesus—the first time I had ever seen a girl with such devotion to Christ. We became fast friends and began riding horses together and writing worship songs.
In 2005, I married that beautiful blonde and she is my dearest friend and partner in ministry (and crime) to this day. We moved to Dallas in 2007 and went to Christ for the Nations, where I studied missions and pastoral ministry and received a degree in Practical Ministry. This led to us becoming full-time missionaries and serving for a year in Guatemala City. We returned in 2013 where I have been completing my B.A.S. in Communication from Dallas Baptist University.
I love people of all ages, but have always found myself being led to work with and minister to young people. I have a raging passion to disciple others to encounter the love and joy of the Father, learn to hear His voice, develop thriving prayer and devotional lives, and transform the world around them.
We have three precious children: Evelyn, Noah, and Jon, and we pastor the junior high kids in Ledge78, which we consider such a joy and honor!
